Welcome!

Welcome to NYU and Third North!

Freshman year is an exciting one, so get ready! New people, new places!

I cannot wait to meet you! This year is packed with programs, ranging from social to educational, community service to diversity programs. Take advantage of all the opportunities to explore New York City!

Just a little bit about me...

My name is Kristin and I am so thrilled to be your Resident Assistant (RA) this year. My job is to help everyone on our floor to get to know one another and create a sense of community within the residence hall. With your help, I’ll be planning floor programs that will help us learn more about each other and enjoy all that New York City has to offer.

I am originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, but am happy to be living in the city throughout the year, catching a Broadway show here and there and getting lost in the lights of Broadway, sipping a cup of (Starbucks) coffee or reading in the park. I am really eager to start my junior year at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, studying Childhood and Special Education, Economics and Linguistics. Traveling is a great passion of mine; I studied a semester abroad in Florence, Italy (where the best gelato in the world can be found)! I love immersing myself in different cultures, through language, music, food and people! Being a student at New York University is awesome and the opportunity to be a student in the cultural hotspot of New York City is incredible! I cannot wait to share my loves of the university and the City with you! Together, we will use our walking shoes and Metrocards to delve into the many adventures awaiting us in New York City!

Always feel free to ask questions!

All my love,
Kristin
